  • 1) Have no time.   2) Am not a PCV alum.   3) Am dedicated every minute of time to saving the Fulbright Program from slipping into the Potomac.
  • Although this is premature at this point, what about the idea of having the Peace Corps program in Iran again?!
  • Editorial assistance is my best skill in this list.
  • I don’t have any idea what the last item is about.
  • I have reviewed, proof read and edited pre-publication several professional articles for publication and two books by others, plus have authored a number of published professional articles. I have an interest in possibly assisting with an anthology, depending on when the work would need to be done.
  • I suggest that we work with Brewster Kahle of Archive.org. I know him personally. They have the technical means to both preserve the materials, whether documents, pictures, or film, and to make them as widely available as possible in digital form.
  • I think all of these are good ideas, but I’m just too old and worn out to do them.
  • I will do my best to invite RPCVs to join.
  • I’m focused elsewhere. HOWEVER the immediate timeline is within 60 days for the treaty approval. That is a very critical effort. If it fails — and Warmongers win in Nov-2016, we’ll be in a defensive position trying to really prevent Iraq-ing Iran. Much harder.
  • Iran can be a very off putting to the uninformed. Very strong resistance and “push back” should be expected from sooner.
  • It’s not a matter of interest; it’s a matter of available time.
  • My lack of interest in two activities above reflects my residence in New Zealand
  • Not clear what the long term archiving for PCIA records may mean. This needs to be spelled out, I think, to get support.
  • Of course I was thinking of support for the current treaty proposal. Writing to legislators or to the media, participating in public forums, providing suggestions with regard to reading material to the uninformed, etc.
  • The Austin conference was a great idea. Could we possibly schedule the next one in the Mid-West, to allow greater accessibility to those of us who are unable to travel great distances.   Thanks.
