In this issue Tom Huf discusses the JCPOA.
It requires recertification every 90 days by the President that Iran is in compliance with the provisions of the JCPOA. So far, President Trump has recertified this agreement twice despite his assertion that it was a “bad deal” for the US. October 15 is the next deadline for this recertification. Some sources have stated that the National Security Advisors from security-related organizations in Washington have recommended to President Trump that he continue to certify compliance. All the other P5+1 countries agree that Iran is in compliance.
